How to Use

    So easy to customize

    I love that Needed makes it so easy to customize your dose and gives guidance on amount to take based on my test results. Also I haven’t noticed any stomach upset from taking these. Plus the child proof lid gives me peace of mind.

    Increased Energy

    I was experienced fatigue in my 1st trimester and knew it was most likely due to low iron. I’ve experienced this in previous pregnancies and have tried a few diff. types of iron. I was looking for an iron supplement that would more easily absorb and this seems to be working well. I am no longer experiencing light headedness and I have improved energy to care for my littles and work. I noticed a difference in just a couple of weeks. Going to compare my blood work from 2nd and 3rd trimester to see what my levels actually show.

    Finally A Good Iron

    So happy with this iron supplement! It is a better form of iron and is bound with Glycerin to help the body absorb better. I have had no stomach issues while taking this supplement. Also, with the lower dosage per capsule, I take only one capsule now at 6 months postpartum, but can easily change my dosage as my life circumstances change (i.e. a future pregnancy). So thankful to Needed for all of their products!

    I appreciate that the iron is separate from the prenatal vitamin. It gives me the freedom to take what is needed and allow for proper absorption.

What makes Needed’s Prenatal Iron different than others?
We offer an Iron bound to Glycine as Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelate (Ferrochel™) in 13.5mg capsules that allow you to more easily dose up or down as you need. Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelate is a mineral chelate in which Iron is bound to two Glycine amino acid molecules. It is easily absorbed by the body and, unlike most other Iron forms, it minimizes constipation and gastric upset.

Our Iron is vegetarian and non-GMO. Free of 9 major allergens, gluten, and unwanted fillers.
What are the "other ingredients" in your Iron?
Iron as Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelate (Ferrochel™) is carried in vegetable capsules made from cellulose with a small amount of extra cellulose and the amino acid, L-Leucine, to help place the Iron into capsules.
Where is your Iron manufactured?
Our Iron is manufactured in the United States at an FDA registered facility that has third party GMP certification.
What kind of testing do you do?
We test all products for quality and safety at third-party laboratories including tests for nutritional content, pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, microbes, and other contaminants.
